How to apply false eyelashes

Applying False Eyelashes

Make sure your eyelids are clean

1. Remove false eyelash from the box starting from the outer corners (preferably use tweezers).

2. Measure length of the false eyelash to your natural lashes.

3. Trim as necessary from the outer edge (can use nail clippers). But some false eyelashes do not need to trim.

Important: Your natural lashes are shorter near the inner corner of the eye, so you might want to trim the false eyelashes to reflect the natural length. Trim at an angle, and taper them off at the end to look real. They should be longer towards the outer corner of the eye. Lash length should vary slightly.

4. Bend the false eyelash over your index finger for a few seconds, this allows the lash band to contour more to the natural eye shape.

5. Turn the False Lash upside down and add the lash glue.

Glue can be squeezed onto the back of the hand or tin foil, or can be added using tooth brush.
Run the false eyelash onto the glue in a thin line, or dab using the toothbrush.

6. Allow the lash glue to get tacky. (Depending on the room temperature) Approximately 10 – 20 seconds.

You can hasten the process by blowing on it, or gently flick it a few times in the air.
Don't worry if the glue is whitish, once dried it will become transparent.

7. Using tweezers place the false lash as close to your natural lash line as possible, starting from the center, then inner and outer side. Using a cotton bud gently press the False Lash onto your natural lash line.

If you’re using individual lashes, start at the outside and work toward the inner eye. You'll want a couple clusters at the outer corner of the eye and one in the center of the eye or wherever your real lashes are sparse. Make sure to leave a natural space between lashes. The secret is to keep the clusters to five or fewer and stay away from the inside of the eye

8. Keep pressing for a few seconds to allow the false lash to attached.

Applying mascara:

a. Don't apply mascara to the false eyelash will make the false lash lasts longer, especially with expensive lashes. If so you have to apply before you start gluing.
b. Apply mascara on both real and false lashes will look more natural. Press onto the base of both lashes and apply, bonding real and false together, and smush both lash lengths gently with fingers while mascara still wet (optional).
